Mexikanischer Haircut auf dem Campus

Wie bereits erwähnt, gibt es heute einen weiteren kleinen Blog. Was ist heute noch so passiert? Um ehrlich zu sein, nicht viel. Ich habe bestimmt eine Stunde mit Deik gefacetimed und mit Maxi und Diego Zeit verbracht.

Maxi und Diego sind meine besten Kumpels hier. Sie sind meine Zimmernachbarn und spielen mit mir im Team. Maxi kommt aus Frankfurt, Diego ist Mexikaner. Wir drei sind wie ein eingeschworenes Team. Nein, echt, die beiden sind echt cool und es ist immer mega lustig zusammen.

Heute hatten wir ein Orientation Dinner. Dort kamen alle neuen internationalen Studenten zusammen. Dort wurde dann etwas von den Direktoren vorgetragen. Ein paar Willkommensreden. Das war ganz nett, allerdings waren es nicht viele Studenten, weil viele noch nicht angekommen sind. Danach haben wir uns noch mit ein paar neuen Studenten unterhalten. Das war ganz nett. Niederlande, Japan, Deutschland, Portugal, im Prinzip ist jedes Land dabei.

Und jetzt? Der Hammer. Diego will mir die Haare schneiden. Ja, mein Mitspieler :). Er hat mir vorher Videos und Bilder gezeigt, wie er schon bei anderen die Haare geschnitten hat. Er hat natürlich auch die komplette Friseur-Ausrüstung mit dabei. Also haben wir uns einen Stuhl geschnappt, sind in das Badezimmer gegangen und er hat losgelegt. Jetzt habe ich wieder eine frische Frisur ohne 35 Dollar beim Barbier zu zahlen. Wir haben abgemacht, dass der Schnitt umsonst ist, weil ich ihm ja schließlich blind vertraut habe.

Er ein Bild von meinen Haaren in unsere Fußballgruppe geschickt und baut sich jetzt wahrscheinlich ein kleines Friseur-Business auf, weil die anderen sehen, dass die Haare gut geworden sind. Ich habe ihm gesagt, dass natürlich Niemand wissen muss, dass ich es umsonst bekommen habe. So kann er mehr Geld von den anderen nehmen :). Für mich wird es in Zukunft einen Freundschaftspreis geben :).

Was lernt man daraus? Risiko zahlt sich manchmal aus. Meine Haare sind wirklich gut geworden und jetzt habe ich meinen persönlichen Barbier direkt im nächsten Zimmer.

Jetzt gehe ich frisch geduscht ins Bett und schlafe. Morgen ist ein anstrengender Tag: 2-3 Trainingseinheiten und noch mehr steht an.

Mexican haircut on campus

As already mentioned, there is another little blog today. What else happened today? To be honest, not much. I must have facetimed with Deik for an hour and spent time with Maxi and Diego.

Maxi and Diego are my best buddies here. They are my room neighbors and play on the team with me. Maxi is from Frankfurt, Diego is Mexican. The three of us are like a sworn team. No, really, the two of them are really cool and it's always mega fun together.

Today we had an orientation dinner. All the new international students came together there. There was a presentation by the directors. A few welcome speeches. That was quite nice, but there were not many students because many have not arrived yet. After that we talked with some new students. That was quite nice. Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Portugal, basically every country is there.

And now? Surprise. Diego wants to cut my hair. Yes, my teammate :). He showed me videos and pictures of how he has already cut the hair of others. Of course, he also has the complete hairdressing equipment with him. So we grabbed a chair, went into the bathroom and he got started. Now I have a fresh haircut again without paying $35 to the barber. We agreed that the cut would be free because, after all, I trusted him blindly.

He sent a picture of my hair to our soccer group and is probably building a little barber business now because the others see that the hair turned out well. I told him that of course NO ONE needs to know that I got it for free. So he can take more money from the others :). For me, there will be a friendship price in the future :).

What do you learn from this? Risk sometimes pays off. My hair turned out really good and now I have my personal barber right in the next room.

Now I'm going to bed freshly showered and sleep. Tomorrow is a busy day: 2-3 training sessions and more to come.
