Alleine vor der ganzen Mannschaft singen

Oh Man. Wir haben heute 6:1 verloren. Jetzt sind wir gerade im Bus auf der Rückfahrt. Die Gegner waren heute echt wahnsinnig gut… vom Niveau her schon 4. Liga. Trotzdem war ich frustriert, weil wir nicht gut gespielt haben. Aber das ist jetzt nicht das Thema.

Ich bin eben in den Bus eingestiegen, war frustriert, hatte Kopfschmerzen und wollte meine Ruhe. Was lese ich in der WhatsApp-Gruppe? Jeder der Neuen muss in 2 Stunden vor der gesamten Truppe einen englischen Song singen. Als Einstand. Auch das noch… hat gerade noch gefehlt. Seitdem bin ich nur am Musik hören und schaue, welches Lied am besten passt. 😂 Was ein Scheiß. Das Beste ist, dass wir alleine singen, ohne jegliche Hintergrundmusik, nur die Lyrics lesen dürfen und dann noch auf Englisch. Ist ja nicht so, dass man sich eh zum Deppen macht… nein, auch noch auf Englisch. Vor einem Haufen von Amerikanern, Engländern und Schotten. Richtig. Alle sprechen fließend Englisch…

Oh Mann, ich werde das rocken. Ich werde Take Me Home singen. Ich denke, dass jeder den Song kennt und hoffentlich dann auch mitsingt. Ich versuche das lustig zu verpacken. Ich rock das schon. Ich werde mich morgen in aller Ausführlichkeit melden und berichten.

Aber jetzt entschuldigt mich, ich muss üben!😂

Singing alone in front of the whole team

Oh na man. We lost 6:1 today. Now we're on the bus on the way back. The opponents were really insanely good today... already 4th league in terms of level. Still, I was frustrated because we didn't play well. But that's not the issue now.

I just got on the bus, was frustrated, had a headache and wanted my peace. What do I read in the WhatsApp group? Each of the new guys has to sing an English song in front of the whole squad in 2 hours. As an introduction. That too... was just missing. Since then I'm just listening to music and see which song fits best. 😂 What a shit. The best part is that we sing alone, without any background music, only allowed to read the lyrics and then in English. It's not like you make a fool of yourself anyway... no, in English too. In front of a bunch of Americans, Englishmen and Scots. Right. They all speak fluent English...

Jesus, I'm gonna rock this. I'm going to sing Take Me Home. I think everybody knows the song and hopefully they'll sing along. I'll try to put a funny spin on it. I'm going to rock it. I'll get back to you tomorrow in full detail and report back.

But for now, excuse me, I have to practice!😂
